Wireless Procurement System – our system will reorder Kanban Controlled Material with just a scan of the products' Part Number without paper or the Buyers involvement. Our system knows who to procure it from and for what cost. The cost is automatically provided when a Consolidated Vendor Agreement is established, see below.

Plan For Every Part - Our system has an PFEP built in for each part.  If it is an internally supplied item, a make item, the BOM associated with that part and Job Order will be supplied to production to replenish that part.  If the part is a purchased item, our system knows the external supplier and will initiate a replenish order to that supplier in the predetermined quantity.

Kanban Bins – our system controls dynamic Front Bin and Back Bin quantity Control. These bins and the inventory status are reportable globally to the organization.

POUI – the system knows the dynamic Point-Of-Use-Inventory (POUI) locations of inventory and informs the Receiving Professional what Point Of Use locations to refill Kanban Inventory as it is delivered. It will provide the information to distribute the appropriate amounts to the Kanban Front and Back bins.

Consolidated Vendor Agreement – the system knows which items have agreed prices based on Consolidated Vendor Agreements (CVA) and with established re-order quantities.

Kanban Signals (Replenishment) – The system recognizes two types of Kanban initiated replenishment methods:

1) External to the company - The instant the Kanban reorder signal is identified, an electronic Purchase Order is generated and sent to the vendor via FAX or Email.

2) Internal to the company - The instant the Kanban reorder signal is identified, a Built-To-Stock Work Order (or Pull Signal) is created which is perfect for Stock Sub-Assemblies controlled by Kanban.

Back Flushing – Inventory can be Back Flushed to relive inventory of raw material and add to inventory finished goods or stocked sub assemblies. This feature maintains perpetual inventory accuracy.

Lean Purchasing – A paperless procurement system to instantly convert a Kanban reorder signal into an electronic Purchase Order. Typically 80% of your purchases will be Kanban Controlled items and with the increase of purchasing frequency from increased inventory turns, the purchasing department can maintain the additional work load without any impact.

MRO
MRO stands for Maintenance, Repairs and Operations. Most companies are hindered with the MRO function because it is essential for proper business operation but it is not part of the core business activity. However maintaining critical machines in an organization is essential for proper business operations.  Maintenance of critical machines requires having sufficient inventory of replacement parts and regular scheduled servicing. For most companies, MRO Supplies which are essential for business operation, does not integrate well with the core business systems and becomes a difficult “internal” business operation to manage and maintain.

MRO Lean Software manages the routine and non-routine MRO functions with all the benefits of Lean Manufacturing and Kanban controlled inventory.  It will manage replacement parts inventory as well as repair or service kits.  Each machine may require an independent repair kit which in turn requires a list of parts which the inventory of those parts are maintained in the MRO Lean Software.

The repair kit will detail the parts, tools, manuals, and supplies required for machine maintenance.  Service Orders are created which will detail what components are required and where to find them. When the Service Order is marked complete, the components used in the Service Order are deducted from your parts inventory.  This action is called Back flushing.  MRO Lean software can signal a replenishment order either by Kanban Control, Min/Max levels or procurement can be made to a specific Service Order.  In addition Service Order costing can be determined.
